Mark Folmer has joined Robotic Assistance Devices (RAD), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions Inc., as vice-president, security and industry. The company recently added five other new staff members across its engineering, sales and customer implementation teams.
“Along with many others I believe that RAD’s position as the creator of the Autonomous Remote Service industry will allow it to grow into the incumbent global player,” said Folmer in a statement. “I’m thrilled to become a big part of this team’s growth and success.”
“RAD’s ability to attract top talent that understand our trajectory is an incredible demonstration of confidence,” said Steve Reinharz, founder and CEO of RAD. “Mark and the additional team members will enable further acceleration of sales and gives us the necessary resources for the forthcoming release of our ROAMEO rugged outdoor security robot.”
RAD stated that it has a sales pipeline of over 35 Fortune 500 companies and numerous other potential clients. The company said it expects to continue to attract new business as it converts its existing sales pipeline into paying customers, with each new Fortune 500 customer having the potential of making numerous reorders over time.
