Weiser and Google Weave: Weiser released a new keyless touchscreen lock prototype that leverages Google’s Weave software platform and will bring the benefits of Weave to the residential security market. Weave is a standardized system for IoT devices to connect and communicate. The smart lock features a capacitive touchscreen design and patent-pending SecureScreen™ technology.
Weiser and Apple HomeKit: Launched in January, Weiser Premis is the company’s first Apple HomeKit™-compatible smart door lock. Premis offers homeowners the convenience of unlocking and locking the door using Siri voice controls and best-in-class, patented security features, including SecureScreen™ and the latest version of Weiser SmartKey® security.
Weiser and Thread: Weiser is also introducing a new keyless touchscreen lock prototype that uses Thread networking protocol. Weiser is a member of the Thread Group and is deeply engaged with the Thread initiative, working to bring to market a new smart lock that uses the Thread protocol.
Weiser has recently unveiled Kevo 2nd Gen, a second generation smart lock which provides the same trusted touch-to-open smart lock experience available in the Kevo 1st Gen teamed with a refined user experience, sleeker design and added security.
Kevo Convert is a smart lock conversion kit that makes an existing deadbolt “smarter” at an affordable price. Weiser is the first manufacturer to offer full smart lock solutions and a smart lock conversion kit to homeowners.
