Local Security announced it has selected Penticton, B.C., to begin construction on a network operations centre (NOC).
According to the company, the NOC will be responsible for monitoring security operations locally and oversight of Local Security’s network of connected virtual surveillance operations centres (VSOC).
“Our highly trained security professionals have already processed millions of incidents, resulting in countless arrests and tens of millions of dollars in property crime prevented,” said Adam Power, CEO, Local Security, in a statement. “For businesses and municipalities looking to reduce losses while protecting their people and assets, it’s an easy value proposition to add our services to their security portfolio.”
