The initiative also aims to reduce false alarms in standard motion detection sensors that occur when supervising and illuminating large areas for intruders. GJD says its optical adjustment systems and programmable detection beam ranges work to avoid false alarms caused by environmental factors and boundary overspill, thereby giving advanced warning to security personnel of intrusion attempts.

The two companies will also work together to provide compatibility with most major VMS and home automation systems, including LILIN Surveillance, Mirasys Carbon, Milestone XProtect, Wavestore, Control4, Crestron and RTI.

Part of the agreement stipulates that LILIN will distribute GJD presence detection, LED illuminators and security lighting systems through its network of North American distributors.

“Our clients will have access to genuine GJD products and with the launch of automation drivers, dealers will have an increased amount of solutions available for high-end applications in motion sensing and illumination with easy integration over IP using PoE,” said Joe Cook, VP, LILIN Americas.
