Legrand integrates Amazon Alexa voice control with Nuvo Player Portfolio

Voice control is available with all nine models of streaming Portfolio players. Previous purchasers of the system will gain the new voice control features via free software download.

With Alexa integration, Player Portfolio listeners will be able to request music for any room in the system and adjust audio controls via voice commands.

To integrate Amazon Alexa voice control, Nuvo Player Portfolio owners will be prompted to download and install the Nuvo 2018.3 Update via the Player Portfolio app. It will be available for download before September 30.

The integration for all Player Portfolio players, including the NV-P100, NV-P200, NV-P300, NV-P400, NV-P500, NV-P600, NV-P3100, NV-P3500 and NV-P4300, will support connected Amazon Alexa Echo, Echo Plus, Dot, Spot and Show devices. Multiple Amazon Alexa devices can be used to control upgraded Nuvo Player Portfolio models.
