For small sites such as professional offices, the Telephone Entry System comes complete with a simplified version of the EntraPass software for system configuration and firmware upgrades, as well as live transaction monitoring, tenant list modification, and system back up.  At larger commercial installations, the Telephone Entry System integrates smoothly with Kantech’s EntraPass security software and suite of door controllers for a complete access control solution.

“It also raises the bar in terms of technology”, said Jean Rho of Technilogic in Montreal, Que., whose company implemented the Telephone Entry System four months ago. “Being able to integrate with EntraPass software was a real bonus for us as we needed a system that provided telephone access at the front door and entry into various other doors on the property. The solid stainless steel housing was of equal importance since this unit was installed on the exterior of our building and is needed to withstand the extreme Canadian winters.”

The system is housed in a stylish, weather- and vandal-resistant housing built to withstand both the harshest of environmental conditions and unauthorized attempts to gain access to the system. The 4-line, 20-character LCD with high-contrast and backlighting is designed for easy viewing.  Visitors can select a tenant from a 3,000 capacity list and tenants can then grant or deny access to their visitors by simply pushing a button on their land line or mobile phone.
