Iveda to launch Cloud solution at ISC West

The app features live and recorded video and audio sharing for applications including security, event recording, and remote insurance claims assessment.

“IvedaMobile transforms a smartphone or tablet into a live video streaming device and audio transmitter,” said the company in a press release.

The Cloud-hosting platform allows multiple instances of live video to be simultaneously recorded and broadcasted for immediate viewing and sharing using a Web-based online viewer. When users download the IvedaMobile Viewer app (on their iPhone, iPad, or android device) they can view live video of their friends and family.

The result of collaboration with Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), IvedaMobile will be a featured entry in the New Product Showcase Award to recognize innovative products.

“We designed IvedaMobile to be a very flexible mobile app that can be scaled to fit any customer’s specific needs,” said David Ly, Iveda Solutions founder and CEO, in a press release. “Whether the [customer has] two mobile devices, or two hundred, or more; it can put the power of the Cloud in the palm of anyone’s hand.”

Currently IvedaMobile runs on certain Android devices (4.0 and above) and iPhones/iPads.  IvedaMobile uses wireless streaming technology including 3G, 4G, and Wi-Fi that is combined with compression technology to ensure secure and efficient video transmission.
