FMC said in a statement that the acquisition “allows FMC to further diversify their offerings to include fire alarm service and inspections, while also strengthening and expanding their ability to offer large scale integration projects and security solutions.”

“The strategic move allows us to expand our customer base while growing our knowledgeable and strong technical services and customer support team. This move allows us to bring all of our customer’s needs – from fire to security to monitoring under one roof,” said Kevin Allison, Vice President of FMC.

FMC describes itself as a “leader in the fire alarm monitoring industry” while also offering security services including a ULC-listed Signals Receiving Centre (SRC).

Established in 2000, Bulldog was recognized by SP&T News as Integrator of the Year in 2009 for an installation project with client Sleeman Breweries.
