Inovonics adds to its executive ranks

Inovonics, a provider of wireless sensor networks for commercial and life safety applications, has added several new faces to its management and business development teams.

Don Commare has been promoted to vice-president of marketing. Commare was previously the director of product management where he helped define product lifecycle decisions and product development investment strategies in support of the company’s line of wireless transmitters, transceivers and sensors.

Commare has more than 20 years of marketing and management experience. Prior to Inovonics, he worked at Watlow, a global manufacturer of industrial temperature controls, sensors and electric heaters, as director of new product and business development and product management.

Eric Banghart has also been hired as a senior business development manager for health care; Dawn Wilson has been selected as senior product manager for the company’s enterprise mobile duress product line (Radius); and Todd Stanley has joined as a senior product manager focusing on the senior living market.

Prior to Inovonics, Banghart worked for Cardinal Health, Ambulatory Care as director of sales for the Western region. Wilson has 20 years of experience in a variety of marketing roles, including working at two international medical publishing organizations and at Covidien, an international medical device company. Before joining Inovonics, Stanley was a senior product manager for artificial airway products at Covidien, and headed up important product lines for both Kraft Foods and ConAgra.
