Convergint acquires H&E Comfort Controls

Convergint Technologies, announced the acquisition of H&E Comfort Controls, a Canadian provider of solutions to address the facility challenges of workplace security, comfort and energy conservation.

H&E is located in Windsor, Ont., and has a substantial customer-installed base throughout the province. The acquisition expands Convergint’s access to several key vertical markets, including K-12 and higher education, municipal government and utilities.

“H&E extends our capabilities, solutions, and services within building automation throughout Eastern Canada, reinforcing our strategy of being our customers’ best service provider. Additionally, they bring an experienced staff with a broad range of skills, including the mechanical and electrical expertise to support our clients’ technical needs,” says Ken Lochiatto, president and CEO of Convergint Technologies, in a company statement.

H&E was founded in 1989. In addition to building automation solutions, H&E offers access control, video surveillance, system integration, power metering, and energy efficiency.
