Gordon Frey has been appointed Canadian sales director for IndigoVision. According to an announcement from the company, Frey has 18 years of experience in the security industry and was most recently regional sales manager for Samsung Techwin.

Security monitoring company Monitronics has added two new directors of marketing: Renee Mallonee, who will focus on public releations, branding and dealer marketing; and Mike Bek, who will focus on digital marketing and analytics. This change comes at a time when the company says it is putting renewed energy toward bringing connected home capabilities to its 1.2 million customers, including smart home technology.
