Hikvision appoints new sales director for Western Canada

Kazim Akhtar, Hikvision Canada

Kazim Akhtar has been appointed director of sales for Western Canada at Hikvision.

With an executive MBA and over 14 years of experience, Kazim has a track record of leading teams and driving business growth across the U.K., Pakistan, the Middle East and Canada, according to Hikvision.

Akhtar joined Hikvision in 2018 and has held roles including director and project sales expert for the Middle East and North Africa, before moving to Hikvision Canada in 2021.

Hikvision stated that Jeff Augustine, vice-president of sales and director for Western Canada, is leaving the company after eight years to explore new opportunities within the industry.
