Raptor Photonics expands North American footprint

The Northern Ireland-based company will add dedicated admin, technical and sales staff to support all customers in the United States. All future orders in the U.S. will now be handled, processed and supported from the new offices.
 
“It was always our intention to incorporate Raptor in the United States. It’s a very important market for us and as we continue to grow our business, it makes sense to support our customers directly,” said Mark Donaghy, VP Sales & Marketing, in a statement.

The company has three main branches of business for its cameras: surveillance, scientific and industrial. According to Donaghy, its Canadian sales for the latter two are handled by distributor GTL, with additional technical support provided by Raptor. Raptor sells direct to the surveillance market.
