Paladin Technologies announced Monday it has signed a master service agreement with Telus to provide monitoring services to Telus Security customers.

Telus recently launched Telus SmartHome Security and Telus Secure Business and is now teaming up with national integrator Paladin Technologies to provide its customers 24/7, real-time monitoring service and guard response.

Ted Reid, president of Paladin Technologies, said in a statement, “I am proud of the collaborative approach we are undertaking with Telus’ entry into the home security market. Together, our organizations will quickly foster innovation and progressive technology in this market sector.”

Jason Macdonnell, senior vice-president, Telus SmartHome Security and Secure Business, added, “Telus is excited to partner with Paladin and leverage their deep experience in security and monitoring for Canadians and their long-standing commitment to customer privacy. Paladin has built a robust operation for its clients and we are confident that together, we will deliver enhanced security solutions to our customers.”

Telus announced the launch of its SmartHome Security and Telus Secure Business for B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan in July. Those businesses were formed from the Telus acquisition of the western AlarmForce assets from Bell in early 2018.
