Indian security firm plans to enter Canadian market

Matrix Comsec, an India-based security and communications solutions provider, recently announced its intent to enter the Canadian market.

Matrix, which also has offices in California and Florida, offers solutions including IP video surveillance, people mobility management, time-attendance, access control and unified communications.

Markets served by the company include: health-care, hospitality, retail and banking.

“We see Canada as one of the potential countries to penetrate with our advanced solutions and make a mark among system integrators and end customers,” the company announced in a recent statement.

“Matrix has a rich innovation lineage,” said Ganesh Jivani, managing director, Matrix. “The company has acquired a formidable reputation for quality and engineering of its products. Our solutions, with their value-added functionalities, will surely strengthen the communication and security requirements of enterprises. These solutions have already gained interest of system integrators and consultants offering technology solutions for small to large enterprises and projects. We look forward to a welcoming environment in Canada.”

Initial plans include marketing and an increased trade show presence. The company will exhibit at the Security Canada Central conference, held Oct. 24-25 in Toronto,  organized by the Canadian Security Association (CANASA). According to the company: “Interacting with the system integrators will give us greater insight into the enterprise demographics and challenges of the security and communications market in Canada, which will further assist us in understanding the niche requirements of enterprises in Canada and engineer solutions meeting their exact requirements.”
