Victor Harding, principal of Harding Security Services, and regular SP&T News columnist, recently announced an alliance with Norton McMullen Corporate Finance (NMCF), a mid-market M&A advisory firm based in Markham, Ont.

Harding Security has provided M&A advisory services to the security industry in Canada for 12 years. According to Harding, the partnership will enable the firm to better serve mid-market companies with annual revenues between $10M and $250M.

NMCF, a subsidiary of a regional accounting firm Norton McMullen LLP, serves owner-operated private companies with annual earnings up to $5M in EBITDA providing buy/sell, financing and succession planning services.

NMCF has completed more than 20 transactions with a combined enterprise value of $165M in the last 24 months.

“We believe combining HSSI’s knowledge of the security industry with the NMCF access to private equity and family office players will make for a potent combination for owners of larger security-related companies,” said Victor Harding in a statement.
