Genetec to preview Cloud-based solution at ISC West

The company says the hosted solution will be packaged starting at prices below US$10 a month per camera and has been designed for the needs of the small to medium-sized businesses such as restaurants, small retailers, office buildings, as well as for events. According to Genetec, a Cloud Federation feature will allow users to add cameras to remote locations while centralizing monitoring within their existing facility.

Genetec is providing users with a 99.5 per cent uptime guarantee. At ISC West, Genetec will also show off the latest iteration of its security platform Security Center, which will feature new threat level management functionality to allow for real-time response to changing security conditions. The company will also showcase its Synergis Master Controller, an IP-enabled intelligent door controller.
