Genetec offers its employees an array of benefits, including flexible hours, generous vacation and time-off, comprehensive group insurance coverage, a retirement savings plan, an attractive employee referral program, a gourmet employee bistro, as well as a fully equipped games room. Also recognized as one of the best employers for young people in Canada in 2013, Genetec invests heavily in next-generation talent through its comprehensive intern program, while also providing employees with ample opportunities for growth and advancement through its training and career development programs.

“We are honoured to have been named one of Montreal’s top employers for the eighth year in a row”, says Jill Ram, Vice-President of Human Resources for Genetec. “We take great pride in our working environment, and are constantly introducing tools, perks, and growth opportunities for our employees to perpetuate a culture of innovation, essential to the growth and future of our business.”

Now entering its ninth year, Montreal’s Top Employers is an annual competition organized by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers. This special designation recognizes the Montreal-area employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.  Employers are evaluated on criteria including: physical workspace, work atmosphere and social, health, financial and family benefits, vacation and time off, employee communications, performance management, training and skills development and community involvement. Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.
