Genetec announces new hosted license plate recognition solution
Genetec has announced AutoVu Managed Services, a new turnkey License Plate Recognition (LPR) solution. Ideally suited for municipal and university parking authorities as well as police departments with LPR-enabled vehicles, AutoVu Managed Services simplifies the deployment and maintenance of mobile LPR systems.
Configured to meet the unique requirements of each customer, AutoVu Managed Services eliminates the need to commission and maintain servers or other IT infrastructure and can be deployed and updated without involving an organization’s IT staff.

Experienced Genetec technicians handle system installation and configuration for AutoVu Managed Services, as well as the connection with third-party hardware and software, such as permit management systems, pay-by-phone services and pay stations.
