G4S Technology appoints Sam Belbina as company president

Belbina will oversee all strategic initiatives and operations while leading the company towards successful revenue generation and organic growth.

He will also lead on strategic initiatives including the rollout of a National Services Program and the G4S Technology Layered Security Approach, which differentiates the company as the only integrator who can offer customers a total, single source solution encompassing robust communications networks, top of the line security technology, manpower and guarding, and services and maintenance.

With over 20 years’ experience in the Security industry, Belbina joined G4S Technology in February of 2013 as the Executive Vice President overseeing Business Development, Marketing and Communications.

He also had executive responsibility for strategic initiatives including new markets and the expansion of National and Global Services business.

Prior to joining G4S Technology, Belbina held senior positions at Schneider Electric and TAC Americas, Inc. He has managed multi-million dollar security projects in Malaysia and has overseen business development and management of projects in the UK, North Africa and the Middle-East.

He succeeds former President, Bob Sommerfeld, who has been promoted to Chairman of the Board of G4S Technology.
