Fitch Security Integration Inc. announced that it has acquired all of OBN Technology Services Inc., a division of OBN Security & Investigative Consultants Inc.
The stock purchase includes the company’s CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm and monitoring business, as well as OBN Technology’s client base. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“Our acquisition of OBN Technology Services Inc. represents an important part of our long term plan to strengthen our position in key industry sectors. We look forward to serving these, our newest clients,” said Edward Fitchett, founder and president of Fitch, in a statement.
Toronto-based Fitch has operated since 1981, providing integration and monitoring services. Fitch was the 2018 recipient of SP&T News‘ Integrator of the Year award. OBN Security & Investigative Consultants, also based in Toronto, was founded in 1999. The company will continue to provide services including uniformed security, mobile patrol services, labour dispute management, executive protection, armed guard services, threat risk assessments and security audits.
