The Fingerprint Mobile Identification Device for Apple mobile devices called iFMID, permits you to identify people from an iPhone or iPod touch through an App and a remote matching server.

iFMID interacts very simply with an application running on the Apple devices, said Michel Leblanc, Chief Technologies Officer of S.I.C. "The App access is secured by fingerprint, and when you are logging into the app, you can capture a fingerprint template to compare it to a remote server that matches the template in less than a second on a 25,000 templates database."

The iFMID is power independent of the Apple devices and good to scan more than 2,000 times before require a recharge.

iFMID core technology is part of the Moris3 device, the first Multi-Modal biometrics on the iPhone combing Iris, facial and fingerprint technologies. The consortium that developed this solution for law enforcement, DOD and private sectors is composed of Bi2 Technologies (iris), Animetrics (face) and S.I.C. Biometrics (fingerprint).
