According to the company, features of the service include: encryption for video recording, in keeping with Canadian policies on privacy protection; flexible Cloud storage and retention periods; and granular user permissions allowing companies to track video  access.

“We continue to add data centres worldwide to ensure we meet the unique customer requirements in different countries and avoid any complexities of international law,” said Dean Drako, Eagle Eye Networks’ President and CEO, in a statement. “Further, our cyber secure Cloud VMS allows executives to have secure remote access when they are away from the office.”

The Cloud-based Eagle Eye Security Camera VMS is powered by multiple Tier IV data centres. The infrastructure has been specifically designed for video and is managed directly by Eagle Eye personnel. The data centres also support developer activity for the Cloud-based Eagle Eye Video API. Eagle Eye Networks has three centres, located in Austin, Tex., Santa Clara, Calif., and Montreal.
