Eagle Eye Networks has introduced a bidirectional audio capability that provides remote communication via the Eagle Eye Cloud to deliver active monitoring and response.
The 2-way audio feature uses a standard IP speaker or horn connected to an Eagle Eye Bridge or CMVR to enable security professionals to instantly communicate warnings to intruders, deter security threats or manage crowds.
Businesses can also use 2-way audio to communicate in real time with staff, customers and visitors.
Eagle Eye Networks founder and CEO Dean Drako said that apart from assisting with perimeter protection and de-escalation, the 2-way audio will also help business owners with operations, customer service and employee support.
The company’s audio solution includes mobile access through the Eagle Eye Viewer app on iOS or Android. Users can connect it through an approved IP speaker or horn to Bridge or CMVR. They can also link multiple cameras to an IP speaker or horn to create a communication network.
It is possible to incorporate alerts for trespassing or loitering through the video analytics and communicate with suspicious individuals to deter any threat. Eagle Eye says the solution offers high quality audio with low latency as well as an audit log of sessions to capture users, timestamps, changes and updates.
