The course, Door Interlocks: Applications and System Design, also discusses the different types of interlock controls and accessories required for a fully functional system.

The one hour lunch and learn course is AIA-accredited (the American Institute of Architects), with attendees receiving a certificate for one AIA learning unit upon completion. It may be conducted at a customer’s or end user’s facility, where Dortronics will provide the educational content and lunch for attendees.

“Door interlocking systems are growing in popularity, as they are a solid method to secure a facility,” said Skip Burnham, A/E sales manager, Dortronics Systems Inc. “It is important for users to understand how they are designed, manufactured and implemented, given all of the various options available. We are excited to offer this AIA accredited course that we believe will provide focused education in a small and relaxed environment.”
