DORMA acquires Door Controls, Inc.

Acquired July 3, 2013, Kansas City, Kansas-headquartered Door Controls enables DORMA to provide its customers with enhanced products solutions and services in the Midwest.

The service sector is continuing to grow throughout the country as buildings age and need to be retrofitted for new technologies that will enable increased access control and energy efficiency. The partnership with Door Controls, coupled with the recent acquisition of security solutions provider Rutherford Controls International, will allow DORMA to provide a broader spectrum of product and services to the customer.
