Digimerge Technologies launches dealer program, website

Concurrent with the launch of its Pinnacle Camera line-up, Digimerge Technologies is introducing a unique program called “Time is Money.” The program offers a free camera as “compensation” for the installer’s time, in the unlikely event of a Pinnacle camera failure.

“We are so confident in the reliability of our Pinnacle cameras, if one fails we’ll cover the service call,” said Digimerge Executive Vice President Wayne Hurd.

The Pinnacle line-up of dome, bullet and box cameras consists of indoor, outdoor, wide dynamic range and vandal-proof models with features such as Ultra Resolution at 600 TV Lines, Polaris Vision, Smart IR night vision, motion adaptive digital noise reduction, full OSD menu control and dual voltage. All Pinnacle cameras are backed by a five-year warranty, including over-the-counter replacement during the first year.

“The Time is Money program has been created in response to input from dealers and integrators who told us about the time and cost involved in replacing a failed camera,” said Hurd. “Frankly, the quality of our Pinnacle cameras is so high we don’t expect to be covering many service calls, but the program is there to let our dealers know we understand their concerns and have their back.”

Digimerge also recently revamped its website, which features a four image interactive Rotator, which is Java-based rather than Flash to ensure ease of viewing on most formats.

Product categories are accessible via multiple menus found through the top drop-
down or the side menu which opens up to display the options within the corresponding section of the site. At the product level, information is broken down in a multi-tab format containing the description, key features, and downloads — which include manuals, spec sheets, FAQs and software updates.

New features of the Digimerge website include an instructional video page with feeds from the DigimergeTV YouTube channel, links to connect with Digimerge on Facebook and Twitter, news releases, a section with resources supporting discontinued products, and a “Did You Know?” page which provides interesting facts about the company.

Another addition is a blog authored by Wayne Hurd, Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing of Digimerge, called Wayne’s Word.
