Cobra Integrated Systems named Integrator of the Year
Cobra Integrated Systems Ltd. has been named as Security Integrator of the Year 2012, sponsored by Anixter Canada, by the SP&T News editorial advisory board.

Cobra, based in Vancouver, won the award based on the installation of an IP-based security system at EPCOR Tower, a 28-floor office tower in Edmonton. The project included an IP access control system for 450 doors and an IP video system comprised of 350 cameras, as well as IP intercoms and fire monitoring. The comprehensive project required the delivery of a dedicated security network and tablet/smart phone access to the system. Technology was provided by at least five different vendor partners.
The SP&T advisory board was impressed by the scope of the project and the variety of technology involved.
Cobra and the EPCOR project will be the cover subject of the October issue of SP&T News. Cobra will receive the Integrator of the Year award at a gala dinner to be held in October.
