Cathy McHugh joins DVTel
DVTel said in November that Cathy McHugh has joined the company as director of global marketing.
McHugh formerly held a similar position at Senstar Corp., a Canadian perimeter detection company based in Carp, Ont. Prior to that she ran her own marketing and public relations firm for 15 years.

According to DVTel, in her new position, she will work alongside the management team to develop and implement DVTel’s marketing and branding strategy as well as run the marketing communications department.
“Cathy brings to DVTel a skill set that complements DVTel’s new focus,” said Yoav Stern, President & CEO, DVTel Inc. “She will work with our teams around the world as we redirect our efforts in creating a more advanced and more profitable video product solution for System Integrators and end users.”
Ami Amir, DVTel’s executive vice-president of marketing and product management, said, “While Cathy will continue to support our established base of customers in the U.S. and worldwide, she will sharpen our positioning message by utilizing her extensive experience. These efforts will result in the development of a new marketing and branding plan.”
