Bosch targets SMB market with new product line

Bosch Security Systems Inc. has introduced a wave of products designed specifically for small to mid-size security applications. Called "Advantage Line," the new offerings feature analogue and IP cameras — including indoor and outdoor minidomes, integrated infrared dome and bullet cameras, and mini bullet cameras — as well as a range of digital video recorders.

Available only through select distributors, Bosch says the Advantage Line Bosch products accessible to customers with smaller applications and limited budgets, including retail shops and schools.
 
The products come with a set of online tools including product selection guides, video tutorials and live support chat. Bosch is currently promoting the service with a character called “Sam,” a security installer who takes advantage of Bosch’s products and support tools. A video of Sam in action is available on YouTube and on Bosch’s website.
