Boon Edam expands sales force

Boon Edam has expanded its sales team in the Americas, increasing its regional outside sales force to 14.

Greg Schreiber was recently promoted to the position of vice-president of sales. Schreiber joined Boon Edam in 2000 and has held several positions including regional sales manager, sales director and national sales manager.

Boon Edam Inc. has hired Chris Mitchell has been hired as national sales manager. He has held previous positions with Stanley Access Technologies and Besam. Mitchell will lead Boon Edam’s business development team across Canada and the U.S.

Mark Perkins has been appointed national accounts manager. Perkins previously worked with Stanley Access Technologies as a sales representative in Western Michigan and originally worked at Boon Edam in 1998.

Boon Edam has promoted Dave Rogers has been promoted to the newly created role of govt. and national accounts representative. Rogers has more than 10 years sales experience in the security industry beginning in 2002 with Tomsed Corp. as a national accounts representative. He joined Boon Edam in 2005 after the acquisition of Tomsed.

“Boon Edam is experiencing considerable sales momentum right now,” says Greg Schreiber, in a company statement. “We’ve seen record growth in revenue across all sectors in the Americas over the last three years and in particular with multi-national corporations and government agencies. To maintain a high and consistent level of customer service we’ve expanded our sales team coverage to almost triple where we were in 2010. To keep pace with our projected growth, we plan to hire additional sales managers in the next few months.”
