Boon Edam announces new staff appointments

Boon Edam recently announced several new additions and rehires to its staff.

Mark Perkins has rejoined Boon Edam USA as vice-president of strategic markets development. Perkins previously served as vice-president of enterprise sales. Perkins has more than 10 years of experience at Boon Edam and more than 25 years of experience in the security industry.

Derek Nilsen also rejoins Boon Edam USA as director of marketing. Nilsen’s history with Boon Edam began in 1991 when he was hired as the first national sales manager for the company.

“We are thrilled to have both new and returning members of staff join our team during this time of unprecedented growth,” said Valerie Currin, president and managing director, Boon Edam, in a statement. “These new appointees all exhibit skills and talent that support the Boon Edam mission of helping our clients feel welcome and secure. I look forward to working alongside some of them directly at our new headquarters in downtown Raleigh.”
