BICSI elects new Canadian Region director
Following an election by the BICSI board of directors, José Mozota has been named Canadian Region director for 2015-2017.

Mozota, Legrand Canada’s national sales manager, Data Communications, holds a doctorate in chemistry and speaks seven languages. According to his biography on the BICSI website, his career began in 1983 with Illinois-based Nalco, a water treatment chemicals company. In 1997 was promoted to vice-president of operations for Latin America, managing seven countries. He also held a senior role in Nalco’s Naperville, Ill. headquarters before joining Legrand in 2006. In 2012, he moved to Legrand Canada as national sales manager for Data Communication.
Mozota will officially take over from the current Canadian Region director, Anixter Canada’s Peter Levoy, at an inauguration ceremony at the BICSI Winter Conference & Exhibition, which will be held in Orlando, Fla., in February.
