Axis Communications to integrate 2N’s operations in the U.S. and Canada
Axis Communications has announced that the integration of 2N’s North American operations with Axis North America will be completed as of January 1, 2018.

Axis acquired 2N, a developer and manufacturer in the field of IP-intercom and physical security, in 2016. According to Axis, the integration will further expand 2N’s position in the U.S. and Canadian intercom markets while helping Axis accelerate growth in the converging IP-Intercom market.
Once the integration is complete, Axis Communications will employ 2N employees in North America and all 2N products will be available through Axis’ standard distribution channels.
“North America is the largest market for Axis, and is a priority market for future development. By including 2N’s IP-intercom products and technology into the Axis organization, we are creating a complete range of intercom solutions for our customers,” said Fredrik Nilsson, vice president, Americas, Axis Communications. “As we also open our sales channels to 2N, we are enabling a faster sales development of IP-intercom products in our region.”
