Axis Communications has launched the AXIS V5925 PTZ Network Camera. The AXIS V5925 is ideal for use in auditoriums, classrooms, and for indoor sports events — allowing users to effectively reach a broader, remote audience through the internet and other broadcast media.

The AXIS V5925 offers HDTV 1080p at 60fps and 30x zoom. VISCA RS-232 based control system allows integration with existing AV installations and VISCA over IP allows for remote control of multiple cameras via a LAN connection. Additionally, a 3-month Camstreamer trial license is included, which enables live streaming to platforms such as YouTube and Facebook Live directly from the camera over an IP network.

“We’re excited to meet the growing demand for live video with a camera that’s packed with all the features a broadcast professional would expect — and more,” said Ryan Gregory, director of solutions & services, Axis Communications, Inc., in a prepared statement. “HDMI and 3G-SDI outputs let users connect to most professional video switchers, and with the VISCA RS-232 control system users can easily integrate the camera into their existing AV system. The V5925 is truly a versatile camera that makes professional broadcast simple.”
