NSS Labs joins PCI Security Standards Council
NSS Labs has announced it has joined the PCI Security Standards Council (SSC) as a participating organization. The Council is the independent industry standards body providing management of the payment card industry Data Security Standard (DSS).

“We are pleased to have NSS join us as a Participating Organization,” said Bob Russo, general manager, PCI Security Standards Council. “We look forward to working with them and the greater participating organization membership to increase awareness and drive adoption of the PCI Data Security Standard.”
Comprehensive certifications address a wide range of security technologies, including Firewall, VPN, Host and Network Intrusion Detection and Prevention (NIDS, HIDS, NIPS, HIPS), Unified Threat Management (UTM), Wireless Security, Content Filtering and Data Leak Prevention (DLP), Web Application Firewall (WAF), Vulnerability Assessment (VA), and cryptographic / PKI solutions.
“NSS’s deep experience in security product testing and certification will contribute to and benefit the highly-respected work and mission of the Council,” said Matt Harrigan, president of NSS Labs. “Joining the PCI Security Standards Council is an honor, and we look forward to supporting the Council in its efforts to increase the adoption of the PCI DSS worldwide.”
