ASSA ABLOY Hospitality to become part of ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions
STOCKHOLM – ASSA ABLOY Hospitality, provider of security technologies for the hospitality industry, has announced a restructuring of its organizational hierarchy, with hospitality now becoming one of several specialized market-specific units operating under the new ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions name.

The firm says a driving force behind its restructuring has been its focus on investing in businesses and solutions that can be scaled on a global level, allowing ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions to fully cater to the numerous and unique security challenges facing diverse markets, such as marine, elderly care, student housing, asset management and logistics.
“We are very pleased with the success that we have had with our hospitality organizational model, which focuses on one of our key verticals and creates dedicated solutions that meet specific market needs,” said Christophe Sut, executive vice president and head of the Global Technologies business unit at ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, in a prepared statement.
“With that in mind, we identified a need to replicate this approach for other vertical markets, and therefore created ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions to provide the specific security hardware, software, installation and support services that cater to each industry’s needs. This restructuring also enhances our value by allowing us to create new types of relationships with our customers, providing the potential to innovate solutions that bolster organic growth and that create exceptional experiences for end-users. We look forward to continuing to bring such advanced abilities as we expand our presence within the hospitality, marine and elderly care markets and beyond.”
