ASIS 2012 to offer Career Pavillion

IT and security management practitioners attending ASIS 2012 can get the tools and advice to advance their career at the ASIS and (ISC)² Career Pavilion located in the Grand Hall between the Convention Center and Downtown Marriott.
The Pavilion, open September 10-12, will offer career-related services and information, including resume review, career coaching, access to online career development tools and job postings, information on the ASIS mentoring program, and details on ASIS and (ISC)² certifications. Plus, job seekers can connect with corporations and organizations onsite who are seeking qualified candidates.
Kathy Lavinder, executive director, Security and Investigative Placement Consultants, will be in the Career Pavilion on Tuesday, September 11, from 10:00-11:30 am, offering free career coaching and resume reviews., In addition, Kimberly Scheiderman, lead job strategist, City Career Services, will deliver several “mini sessions’ in the Career Pavilion. These information packed, 20-minute offerings will provide advice you can immediately use to ensure you put your best professional foot forward.
