Manufacturers of VMS, NVR, and analytics products have participated in the Arecont Vision technology partner program since it was introduced in 2010. The new infrastructure partners segment expands access to manufacturers of products that include servers, storage, network infrastructure, wireless, cyber security, PSIM, structured cabling, illumination, optics, enclosures, utility software, and accessories.
“Continued Arecont Vision investment in the MegaLab has enabled custom integration and ongoing testing with Arecont Vision megapixel cameras for a growing number of top-tier VMS, NVR, and analytics products,” said Jason Schimpf, director of sales operations and partner relations, Arecont Vision.
“With the addition of the infrastructure partner category, we are giving our end user customers and system integrators new integration-tested product choices that they can rely on for their video surveillance projects.”
Arecont Vision’s MegaLab is used by manufacturers to test new products and releases, as well as by systems integrators to test system designs in advance of installation at a customer site. The company’s technical assistance team also uses the MegaLab to replicate, troubleshoot, and resolve field-reported issues. Program members provide their products for use in the MegaLab to advance these efforts.
