TOA Canada changes technical support staff

TOA Canada has made several personnel changes in its technical support department. Derek Hunter has been promoted to product support manager for the manufacturer of commercial audio and intercom products. Danny Jang is now a product support specialist.

Derek Hunter is now product support manager at TOA Canada.

“I am excited to see these new changes in our technical support department. Derek brings with him over 18 years of industry related experience and will prove to be a strong leader within TOA,” says Rico Lucia, general manager, TOA Canada.

Bill Soper, who provided technical knowledge and expertise to TOA for 17 years, has decided to leave the company. According to TOA, Soper was a valued employee and the company wishes him well with future endeavours.

In his new role, Hunter will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the technical support department at TOA Canada. He will assist TOA Corp. with product development, improvements and launches. He will lead the department in training initiatives, design and support.

Hunter has been a part of the technical support team for the past eight years. He was also responsible for providing support and training to TOA’s dealer base.

Jang will take on more responsibilities with design consultation, technical support and training.
