The firm says Barmettler will develop, execute, and manage the company’s strategic business plans relating to the overall channel partner ecosystem, to successfully implement service offerings and generate additional value for partners.

According to Siemplify, Barmettler brings 20 years of engineering, sales, and channel experience in the network security space to his new role. Previously, Barmettler was director of channel sales at Carbon Black, responsible for driving $70 million in channel sales of endpoint malware protection, EDR, and application control software across the Americas, and grew partner-initiated deals by 35% year over year. He also created and was responsible for North American channel and enablement programs and channel incentives.

Prior to Carbon Black, Barmettler was partner development manager at Cisco, responsible for managing, training, and growing the channel relationships for the company’s top 18 security partners in the Southwest, totaling $75 million in channel sales of next generation firewall and intrusion prevention, network access control, e-mail and web gateways, and anti-malware products.

“Siemplify has been working with the channel, but now is the time to fast track the program at a global scale,” said Miguel Carrero, chief revenue officer, Siemplify, in a statement. “Bradd’s vast security experience, along with proven success in developing and implementing high-performing and fast-growing channel strategies, will help Siemplify further establish the strategic and tactical partner-focused foundations that will ultimately lead us to deliver meaningful value for partners.”

“The SOAR market is booming, with significant opportunity for Siemplify in the channel and I am excited to help in its commitment to amplify its ‘partner first’ strategy,” Barmettler said in a statement. “Combining a market-leading SOAR platform with a value-added partner ecosystem will enhance the security operations for enterprise and MSSP customers alike.”
