OTTAWA — Feenics Inc., a provider of access control as a service (ACaaS), has appointed Blair Cox as chief financial officer.

Cox specializes in financial reporting, forecasting and modeling as well as corporate taxes. Most recently he worked at a cloud-based telecommunications company in San Francisco where he was responsible for finance operations as well as strategic budgeting, planning and analysis.

“I’m excited to be part of Feenics and this technology space. Feenics is poised to take off with lots of opportunity for growth, so it will be a great experience,” Cox said in a prepared statement.

Denis Hébert, president of Feenics, also said in a statement, “Blair has both the enthusiasm and expertise that will blend well with the Feenics culture and our ongoing initiatives as a leading ACaaS provider.”
