Anixter Canada enters distribution agreement with New Zealand’s ICT
Anixter Canada, a distributor of communication products, electrical and electronic wire & cable and security products, has entered into a distribution agreement with ICT, a manufacturer of integrated electronic access control and security solutions.

Auckland, New Zealand-based ICT’s flagship platform is an integrated
platform called Protégé which integrates multiple information
technologies using an open design standard. Protégé offers applications
for advanced enterprise level access control, intrusion detection, user
identity management, high rise elevator management, energy management,
intercom communication, monitored localized condominium security and
digital/network video recording solutions.
“Our distribution partnership with Anixter will provide us with a much
wider market penetration in Canada”, said Mark McRae, vice-president of
sales and marketing for ICT in a statement. “Anixter is well suited to
help us provide our strategic security offerings to integrators and
