Southwest Microwave has appointed Andrew Fleck as Sales Consultant, Canada.

Based out of Halifax, NS, Fleck will manage sales and business development activities in Canada, supporting regional security systems integrators, end users, consultants and A&E partners with risk mitigation strategies for site protection.

Fleck is a solutions-focused sales professional with 15 years of security industry experience at the manufacturer and integrator level, specializing in the design and implementation of complex, integrated outdoor perimeter intrusion detection systems for large-scale government and private sector clients.

“Andrew’s critical infrastructure protection expertise and longstanding customized solutions experience in the perimeter security space position him to enable immediate and measurable market share expansion for Southwest Microwave’s industry-leading perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS) across Canada,” said Maira Zanrosso, Southwest Microwave’s Director of Sales, in a statement.

Fleck is actively involved in the security community as a member of ASIS and CANASA. He was a full voting member for ULC S4400 – Standard for Safety of Buildings and Facilities Utilized for the Cultivation, Production and Processing of Cannabis, with a focus on site perimeter protection.

“I am excited to join the industry’s longest-standing perimeter product manufacturer, providing me with an opportunity to focus on promoting proven detection sensors with advanced technological benefits and broad integration capability,” Fleck said in a statement.

“Southwest Microwave’s product offering has a track record of stable, low nuisance and false alarms. As competitors dilute their focus to peripherals, the opportunity to represent an organization that has remained true to their core focus on high-performance perimeter sensors will be a strong driver for building trust with our customers and substantial market growth in Canada.”
