Alcatraz AI announced that it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS).
The ISO 27001:2013 certification is an international standard designed to help create an ISMS that helps ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive company and customer information.
“The Alcatraz team is proud to have achieved ISO 27001 certification as it validates our commitment to safeguarding the sensitive information involved in developing and delivering autonomous access control,” said Alcatraz Founder and CEO Vince Gaydarzhiev, in a prepared statement. “Our customers and partners can rest assured that our processes not only meet the highest international standards for information security, but it’s our mission to exceed them.”
A-lign, an independent, third-party auditor accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB), has certified that Alcatraz has the proper technical controls and formalized IT security policies and procedures in place to protect it from unauthorized access or compromise.
