Honeywell and London Health Science Centre
Located in London, Ont., London Health Science Centre covers three hospital campuses and approximately 3.5 million square feet. In 2008 LHSC realized it needed to improve its facility operations. To upgrade its existing security and building automation systems, the Centre chose Honeywell's Enterprise Building Integrator to monitor building systems and equipment across its campuses in real-time, and tie together HVAC systems, critical point monitoring, security and life safety systems.

Toronto East General implements Vocera
Vocera is a wearable device that weighs less than two ounces and can be clipped to a pocket or lanyard. The multi-dimensional system enables users to speak directly to one another and make or receive telephone calls. The safety feature is activated by pressing the centre button twice, which immediately alerts hospital security.
