Security integrators losing ground Bill Bozeman, president and CEO of the PSA Security Network, called out the security industry on the “cliché of convergence” at the Securing New Ground Conference held in New York City, Nov. 11-12. Security well positioned amid global crisis: ADT The global economy has taken a serious stumble, but the security business may have a decent chance of being able to stay on its feet, according to one industry leader. Naren Gursahaney, president of ADT Worldwide, said that there are forces at work in security which may present some opportunities for security companies and professionals during this time of economic strife. Sessions to focus on video management, IP encoders and cameras If you're a burglar, an alarm system that's a theatrical smoke machine combined with a strobe light is probably going to scare the living daylights out of you. |
