Companies unite products for mission-critical networks

On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. (OnSSI), a Suffern, N.Y.-based vendor of IP video surveillance systems, and Firetide Inc. of Los Gatos, Calif., a developer of wireless mesh networks, have joined forces to provide video surveillance control and management capabilities over a mesh network. The alliance combines OnSSI's software to control and manage large IP-based video surveillance systems with Firetide's high-speed mesh networks.

The Samsung Electronics SCC-B5353 1/3” Color DNR, Vari-Focal Dome Camera features 540 TV Lines of resolution and true Day/Night capability. It has a movable IR filter that allows the camera to operate as a color camera in daylight and in B&W in very low light.
