This will allow for the automatic linking of ViconNet video with corresponding access control events, which can then be called up and viewed via the Vicon interface.

Vicon’s access solution is fully scalable, equally able to accommodate small and enterprise-scale installations. Its browser-based interface enables control of the system from any web-enabled PC, no matter where you are. With patent-pending hardware, its  controller architecture is built with a single board, offering embedded Request to Exit Motion sensor, on board communications, back-up battery support and removable terminal blocks. It’s software is designed to help maximize administrative efficiency and streamline operations.

Bret McGowan, Senior VP Sales and Marketing, explained, “With the addition of Vicon’s Access Control, an easy-to-use access control solution that integrates fully with our popular ViconNet VMS, we are pleased to now offer a comprehensive security solution that meets our high standard for seamless compatibility.” He further explained, “As an integrated solutions provider, we have identified trends in the security industry towards total building solutions, and are pleased to introduce our customers to a single, network-wide system that integrates video management with physical security solutions.”
