Police Forces in Ontario, Quebec and abroad are already successfully deploying Komutel‘s 911 platforms.

“We are pleased to work with the dedicated and visionary people at the Sarnia Policy Service to enhance its existing 911 service environment,” says Yves Laliberte, President of Komutel. “Once fully deployed and tested, these solutions and tools will provide a flexible and capable platform to allow Sarnia Police to adapt to anticipated Next Generation 911 requirements,” he adds.

Current 911 technologies have been in service without much change for several decades. The advent of IP and of a more mobile and connected society is driving changes in how 911 services will be provided. 911 Public Service Access Points (PSAP) infrastructures must be modernized in order to meet these emerging needs. “Sarnia Police is to be congratulated for recognizing the challenge and taking a leadership position in addressing it,” says Laliberte.
